Our Team

Our clinic boasts a team of professionals that are passionate about getting you back to doing what you love to do. We are not only experienced practitioners in our fields, but each of us maintain active lifestyles and therefore understand the importance of not being held back by your body. We take pride in providing a relaxed atmosphere and ensuring that our patients are comfortable, informed and confident throughout the entire process.

Front Office

One of the cheerful voices answering our phones and greeting patients belongs to Julie. Julie’s personal experience and belief in chiropractic care makes her a wonderful advocate for our services. She is more than happy to answer any questions about the treatments available at our clinic. Julie’s outgoing personality and enthusiasm makes people feel welcome, and she thoroughly enjoys the interaction with each patient.

Outside of the office, Julie has a passion for photography and spending time outdoors camping, cycling, hiking, and cross-country skiing.

Another long-standing member of our reception staff team is Kerry. Her calm and cheerful demeanor puts patients at ease, while her organizational skills keep her busy with plenty of behind-the-scenes administrative work. Kerry enjoys being part of the close-knit team at Oakridge Chiropractic, and looks forward to the variety of people that she interacts with each day.

When Kerry is not assisting patients at our clinic, you can find her working out, or watching CFL, NFL, NHL, EPL… and if there are no sports on TV, she loves to read!

Skye is an enthusiastic advocate of chiropractic, acupuncture and massage therapy, having benefited from treatments for many years. Having previously worked at the front desk of several chiropractic centres, Skye is a natural fit with our team.

When not promoting the benefits of chiropractic care, Skye enjoys a healthy lifestyle hiking, camping, gardening, cooking (makes phenomenal salsa!), singing and hobby beekeeping with her husband. Skye loves to spend time with her family, and helps out administratively with her husband Mike’s roofing business.

Lora is the newest member of the front desk team. She is the part-time, fill-in, short notice, dependable, call to come in pretty much anytime girl.

After working full-time for over 20 years in the Credit/Debit card service industry and with her three children now grown up and more independent, it was time to slow down and enjoy life at a more casual pace. When Lora is not in the office she enjoys her time re-creating recipes, shopping, camping, travelling and spending time with her husband and children.

Cheryl_250pxCheryl Harsch, RMT

Massage Therapy

After approximately 17 years in office administration, Cheryl decided to take a leap and leave the corporate environment in 2012 to go back to school to follow her heart in health and wellness. With the support and encouragement from her family and friends, Cheryl successfully completed the 2200 hrs. Massage Therapy diploma program from Mount Royal University; and received an award for her academic excellence.

When Cheryl was introduced to the fitness industry in high school, the gym became a place where she felt natural, comfortable and confident. In 2007, she competed in her first figure competition with the Alberta Body Building Association (ABBA); and won First Place in her category. This was by far one of Cheryl’s most positive and memorable experiences, which only amplified her desire to want to learn more about the physiology and anatomy of the human body.

In June 2014, Cheryl added another accomplishment that she is very proud of, becoming a Registered Massage Therapist and member of the Remedial Massage Therapists Association (RMTA). Cheryl is excited to be part of our team, working with our clients to continue to enhance her knowledge, skills and experience.
